Lip Injections

Lips are one of the most defining features of your face—and lip injections are a safe, effective way to enhance their natural beauty. Whether you’re looking for a subtle plump, more definition, or a hydrated and youthful look, lip filler treatments are fully customizable to your goals.

Why We Love Lip Injections

Our lips naturally lose volume, shape, and hydration with age. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers restore softness and fullness while maintaining balance with your facial features. Treatments can be as subtle or dramatic as you’d like, and our artistic approach ensures natural results every time.

  • A small amount of wrinkle relaxer is injected into the upper lip muscle, causing the lip to gently roll outward. This softens a gummy smile and creates the appearance of a fuller upper lip—without adding filler.

  • Perfect for first-timers or those who want “just a little.” This treatment adds subtle volume and definition, keeping lips natural-looking and proportionate.

  • Our most popular option. This treatment provides hydration, volume, and contour while keeping lips symmetrical, smooth, and never “overdone.”

How soon will I see results, and how long do they last?

Results are visible immediately, though lips may look fuller until swelling subsides. Final results settle within 3–7 days and typically last 6–12 months. Longevity depends on the type of filler, your metabolism, and lifestyle factors like smoking or sun exposure.

Does it hurt, and are there any side effects?

We use numbing cream to keep you comfortable during treatment. Common side effects include swelling, tenderness, or bruising, which usually fade within a few days to a week.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

    • Arrive 5 minutes early for paperwork and consent forms.

    • Come with clean skin/lips (or arrive 10 minutes early if cleansing is needed).

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and other blood-thinning supplements for 24–48 hours before treatment (if approved by your physician).

    • If you’re prone to cold sores, notify your provider—preventative medication may be recommended.

    • Skip retinol products for 2–3 days prior to treatment.

    • Schedule at least 2 weeks before important events to allow swelling to resolve.

    • Avoid dental work, surgeries, tattoos, or other invasive procedures for 2 weeks before and after treatment.

    • If you are sick or have a rash, breakout, or cold sore near the lips, please reschedule once it resolves.

Post-Treatment Guidelines

    • Do not touch, press, or rub the lips for at least 6 hours.

    • Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, caffeine, spicy foods, and smoking for 24–48 hours.

    • Skip sun exposure, saunas, and hot tubs for 3 days.

    • Do not submerge your face in water for 24 hours.

    • Hold off on facials, microneedling, chemical peels, or laser treatments for 2 weeks.

    • Wait until the next day to apply makeup or lipstick—opt for gentle products like mineral makeup or Aquaphor if needed.

    • Use ice packs in intervals (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off) during the first 24 hours to minimize swelling.

    • Healing may not be symmetrical—one side may settle faster than the other.

    • Contact your provider immediately if you notice severe pain, significant swelling, redness, or blistering.
